Hello!  I am thrilled to be serving God through the ministries of Children, Family and Youth at Wake Forest Presbyterian. In this role I seek to help guide others to find a deep connection with God through the beloved community of faith. The best thing we have going for us as a faith community, I believe, is the authentic relationship we build with God through learning from one another in love!  Our children learn by watching us BE the church, so our goal as a worshiping community should be to authentically love, struggle, and grow together.  

 

A little history on me: My undergraduate work was in journalism at the University of Georgia, and I have a Master’s in Education. I am a huge fan of the written Word, chocolate, and very much enjoy watching my children grow into the people they are intended to be. My husband, Jon, works for the Department of Corrections as Director of Behavioral Health for the state prison system. We have two awesome kids, Addie and Thomas!
