Palm Sunday Worship Service (March 28, 10:00 a.m. in the sanctuary)

The Chancel Choir will share  the path Christ took on his way to Calvary through the spoken and sung word. “The Journey” is a powerful recounting of all He went through for us. This is a great opportunity to bring a friend and let them hear and see all Wake Forest Presbyterian has to offer.

Luncheon and Eggstravaganza (April 2, 3:00-5:00 p.m.. in the CLC and outside)

  • Lunch will be provided in the CLC for all right after worship at 11am.

  • We will have self guided prayer stations for all to spend time in thought and prayer with crafts, activities, etc. ALL ages will have something meaningful to experience!

  • After lunch, we will have egg hunts for ALL ages by age group, including, of course, an adult egg hunt!

  • Love offerings will be graciously accepted to help cover the cost of lunch.

On the Menu:

  • For kids (or kids at heart): chicken nuggets, chips, celery & carrot sticks, grapes

  • For adults (or big kids): turkey & cheese and ham & cheese roll-ups (or pita sandwiches), chips, celery & carrot sticks

  • For everyone's dessert: ice cream & cookies

Maundy Thursday and Tenebrae Service (March 28 at 7:00 p.m. in the sanctuary)

We will have a special communion, gathering in small groups around the table to remember the Last Supper, followed by a Tenebrae Service.  This “service of shadows” features eight readers who will take us through the passion narrative along with verses of beloved passion hymns, sung by choir and congregation. The service ends in darkness and silence. It is one of the most moving services of the Christian year — and makes us ready for what Easter means. Nursery care will be available.

Easter Sunrise Service (March 31 at 7:00 a.m. in the sanctuary)

Join us for our annual Easter Sunrise Service.  We’ll be indoors this year because of how early Easter is. This beloved tradition is a shorter, simpler service to celebrate the sunrise discovery of the empty tomb. Note — no nursery care for this service.
ee to bring a blanket to stay warm and cozy!

Easter Breakfast (March 31 at 7:45 a.m. in the CLC)

Come one, come all to break bread with our Risen Lord on Easter morning! Breakfast will be available in the Christian Life Center. Our menu will include a yogurt bar (with a dairy-free option) with various toppings, fruit salad, a variety of bread and pastries (with gluten-free and dairy-free options), French toast casserole, a gluten-free casserole, pork and turkey sausage, and hard-boiled eggs. To offset the cost of the food, love offering baskets will be on each table.

Easter Worship Service (March 31 at 10:00 a.m. in the sanctuary)

We will be celebrating our Risen Lord with a joyous worship service in the sanctuary at 10:00 a.m.  Nursery care will be provided for children 4 and younger.
