Palm Sunday Worship Service (April 2, 10:00 a.m. in the sanctuary)
On Palm Sunday, the Chancel and Alleluia Choirs will present a cantata, “The Passion of Our Lord,” during the worship service. It will start with His entrance into Jerusalem, when the crowds were waving palms, and conclude with the fulfillment of His mission here on earth. The Praise Team will also share special music.
Rose Garden Dedication (April 2, 11:15 a.m. in the rose garden)
Following our Palm Sunday Service, we will be honoring the memories of the following WFPC members who passed in 2022: Jamie Burwell, Joan Jones, David Maul, Ed Ray, and Si Seiler.
Eggstravaganza (April 2, 3:00-5:00 p.m.. in the CLC and outside)
ïEaster Egg hunts for children by age group, Easter Egg hunt for ADULTS, photo ops all over campus... (there just might be a BIG bunny hopping around for photos as well), crafts and games inside and outside the CLC, and cookies to decorate
Dinner will be available for pre-purchase and will be served in to-go containers for eat-in or take-home from 4:30-5 p.m. ($5 per person, max $20 per family)... Reserve your dinner here

“God So Loved” Cantata (April 2, 7:00 p.m. at Meymandi Concert Hall)
That evening at 7 p.m. in Meymandi Hall (Raleigh), our choir, along with over 225 other voices and orchestra, will be a part of Pepper Choplin’s “God So Loved” — a choral musical for Holy Week. Tickets are available from Joni Amerson and Sandie Buda before and after church for $15 — students (k-12) are free.
Maundy Thursday and Tenebrae Service (April 6 at 7:00 p.m. in the sanctuary)
We will have communion to remember the Last Supper, followed by a Tenebrae service in which eight readers will take us through the passion narrative along with verses of beloved passion hymns, sung by choir and congregation. The service ends in darkness and silence. It is one of the most moving services of the Christian year - and makes us ready for what Easter means.
Easter Sunrise Service (April 9 at 7:00 a.m. in the garden)
Join us for our annual outdoor Easter Sunrise Service by the Rose Garden. If it’s cold, feel free to bring a blanket to stay warm and cozy!
Easter Breakfast (April 9 at 8:00 a.m. in the CLC)
A Potluck breakfast will be available for all worshippers after the 7 a.m. Sunrise Service on Easter morning, April 9, in the CLC. Come and share your love of Christ with other members of the church on this most Holy day. Contact Bonnie Habicht at bnbhabicht@gmail.com. Sign up to participate by clicking here.
Easter Worship Service (April 9 at 10:00 a.m. in the sanctuary)
We will be celebrating our Risen Lord with a joyous worship service in the sanctuary at 10:00 a.m. Nursery care will be provided for children 4 and younger.
