This ten-session study will run through May 2017. From September to May, this group meets twice monthly for prayer, study and fellowship, and is open to women of all ages. As a way to give back to the community, the group also paricipates in Brown Bag Ministries four times a year, helping to provide lunches needed right here in Wake Forest.

Women of the Word

Fall Bible Study 2016

You have a family. You have a story. Jesus did, too.

This diverse group of women will be studying Karen Kingsbury's "The Family of Jesus." The author is one of American's favorite storytellers. She will guide us through the customs, emotions and challenges of being a part of the family of Jesus. Through Scripture and compelling storytelling, step into the days when He walked the earth and get to know His closest relatives. We will study Joseph, Zechariah, John the Baptist, Elizabeth, James and Mary.

We support Family Promise with a dinner and toiletry items. Twice a year we serve dinner to about 100 folks in need of a hot meal on Sunday afternoon in downtown Raleigh. Putting our feet, hand and heart into serving and helping others is a very important part of WOW.

Women's Ministry

womensministrysmallThe mission of the Women's Ministry Team is to promote Fellowship, Spiritual Growth, and Outreach. Responding to God's call in our lives, the women of WFPC will seek to nurture Christ-like relationships and support each other to grow in discipleship while sharing Christ's Church with our members, our community, and our world. Our team plans various events throughout the year to encourage our mission and to serve as a valuable resource for the women of our congregation. Gatherings have included a summer "Lemonade" and "Vintage Christmas". Click the links below for information on upcoming events. If you have a calling to serve the women of WFPC, we are always looking for new team members. Please email the Women's Ministry Team with any questions, concerns, or suggestions.
