GROUP FALL KICK-OFF-J.O.Y.
(Just Older Youth) is the Wake Forest Presbyterian Church small group for
adults -usually with no children at home - who like to gather for fellowship
monthly. We have pot luck meals at church or homes, travel to shows, concerts,
and even picnics. That is how we are
kicking off the fall. We are having a picnic at Sandling Beach at
Falls Lake on Sunday afternoon, September 12, 2010 at 1:00p.m. It will be just like a pot luck
dinner: everyone will bring a main dish, vegetable, salad, bread or dessert or
two to share and a beverage plus your dishes, and silver. We will dine together at shelter #4. Rest rooms are available right there and
parking is close. There is a charge to
rent the shelter which we will split.
Also there is a vehicle charge to enter the park. We hope you will plan to join us. Call or
e-mail Wilma Steele to make a reservation for 9/12/2001! Wilma.steele@earthlink.net or 217-8765.
