Seeking to put God's love into action, Habitat for Humanity brings people together to build homes, communities and hope. WFPC's role, in conjunction with our membership in the Northern Wake Coalition of Churches, is help provide a homes for a deserving families in Wake Forest.

First Work Day: Saturday, April 1, 7:15 - 11:00 AM at 2615 Westinghouse Blvd, Raleigh
Frames are constructed at Habitat Wake Construction Center. Five WFPC volunteers are needed.

Wall-Raising Ceremony: Saturday, April 1, 11:45 AM at 219 Caddel Street, Wake Forest

Clergy and Staff Work Day: Thursday, April 6, 8:15 AM - 12:00 PM
Week 5 Work Day: Saturday, May 5 at 219 Caddel Street, Wake Forest
Siding/Frame/Boxes. Five WFPC volunteers are needed.
Week 8 Work Day: Saturday, May 27 at 219 Caddel Street, Wake Forest
Paint/Interior/Trim. Ten WFPC volunteers are needed.

CPR and AED Training Class

cprThe body & soul ministry is sponsoring a CPR class. This class is open to WFPC members and to individuals from the community. Rohn Hull with CPR Associates will teach the American Heart Association “Heart Saver” class for non-healthcare professionals on Saturday, May 6, from 9 AM until noon in the CLC. This class will include infant, child, and adult CPR, as well as AED training. Anyone 18 years or older can sign up for the class. We have to have a minimum of 10 participants to hold the class. Anyone wishing to participate must register by April 23. The cost is $45 per person, and is also due by April 23. Payments should be made to WFPC with “CPR Training” on the memo line.

Family Promise - June, 2017

FamilyPromiseSmallIn 2017, our second of two host weeks will be the June 11 through June 18.  We need your help to make the week successful.  We need van drivers, overnight hosts, dinner hosts and evening activities coordinators.  Family Promise is a wonderful ministry that gives everyone, kids and adults alike, the opportunity to volunteer to help.
