“All authority has been given to me. Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to obey all that I have commanded you, and lo, I am with you always, even to the end of the age.” (Matthew 28:18-20) By presenting your child for baptism, you announce your faith in Jesus Christ, and show that you want your child to know him, love him and serve him as Christ’s faithful disciple. God’s saving acts are remembered with thanksgiving and the Holy Spirit is invoked, so that those who are baptized may have their sins washed away, be reborn to new life, be buried and resurrected with Jesus Christ, and are incorporated into his covenant family. To learn more about baptisms at WFPC, we encourage you to read the Baptism Information document. If you would like to request to have your child baptized, complete the Baptism Form and submit to the church office.
